This is a very nice technique I have used it many times within Photoshop. Here is another questions I would to pose, do vector objects react the same way when they are imported and manipulated with the same technique? Also will a extruded image built in Photoshop or Illustrator react the same way with 3D setting in After effects. Thanks so much for the info.

...maybe!? :-) But in the time I would need to find a script, I would have duplicated 200 layers ;-) This is a very rough technique and it don't need to be perfect, for this project and many others it worked great.
